We are hiring a remote New Patient Coordinator to schedule new patients in addition to other duties.
Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to maintain confidentiality Strong computer skills Strong attention to detail Team player Efficient time management and workload prioritization Strong multitasking skills Basic understanding of common medical terminology Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment 1
years of experience in a dental setting 1
years of experience in dental insurance Knowledge in Dentrix Ascend High school diploma or equivalent, required
Responsibilities:
Answer phone calls and e-mails, greeting patients and prospective patients Scheduling appointments for patient consultations, procedures and visits Coordinate with front desk about schedules, patients and any changes Resolve scheduling conflicts as they occur Document insurance information in the patient's file for quick reference Provide insurance predetermination documentation to patients, contact the patient to make financial arrangements, and schedule treatment Set up new patients and update current patients' information in Dentrix Ascend Schedule and reschedule appointments Explain fees, services, and policies Willing to help in other areas as needed Benefits for Full-time Employees:
