Security Guard with Security Clearance
POSITION SUMMARY Guards and secures company property, personnel, and assets against hazards such as fire, illegal entry, theft, and vandalismRESPONSIBILITIESo Must be willing to operate a Company vehicleo Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle to ensure personnel, building, and equipment securityo Examine doors, windows, and gates to determine that they are secureo Inform and warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articleso Provide escort services for visitors, students, staff, faculty, and other individuals as requiredo Control egress of vehicular traffic; document any individuals that are not employees by assigning badges and vehicle passeso Watch for and reports irregularities, such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, and security doors left unlocked; sounds alarm in case of fire or presence of unauthorized personso Monitor security cameras and responds to various alarms on propertyo Prepare routine, standardized reportso Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONSo High School Diploma and one year of previous security, military or equivalent law enforcement experience requiredo Local candidates preferredo NCPPSB qualified preferredo Candidates must pass a physical fitness test at the time of hire and every year thereaftero Must be able to obtain U.
