Housekeeper III (Night Shift)

Supervises work activities of housekeeping staff to ensure facilities are clean and orderly.
Assigns housekeeping staff duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness.
Issues supplies and equipment to housekeeping staff.
Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies.
Investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment, and takes corrective action.
Provides orientation, training, and inputs on evaluation of housekeeping staff.
Vacuums, mops, dusts and spot-cleans.
Cleans and sanitizes sinks, counters, toilets, and tub/showers.
Cleans and polishes signs, drinking fountains, walls, mirrors, windows.
Empties trash receptacles/bins and replaces liners.
Restocks restroom and room supplies, such as soap, paper towels, personal item dispensers, and toilet paper.
Honors additional housekeeping requests made by visitors or as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two years of previous housekeeping experience required.
Supervisor experience preferred.
Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion.
Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process.
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, however, some extended or weekend hours may be required.
May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
