Operations Support Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Processes LOA's, passports, arming packets and visas
Manages SPOT & CAAMS activities for assigned contracts
Maintains database of qualified personnel for deployment, updates contact information and availability
Identifies qualified and available personnel, and rapidly deploys them to contract locations to meet task order projects
Schedules training and travel for those attending training
Schedules travel for those deploying
Coordinates the initial site start-up and deployment of contract personnel to worldwide project locations
Acts as liaison with staff and operational groups on personnel support requirements
Receives general project information and identifies both short and long-term resource requirements
Advises management of significant trends, identifies and recommends courses of action based on available information
Consistently demonstrates the highest standard of professionalism and integrity in situations involving minimal guidance and supervision
Establishes, develops, oversees and/or maintains electronic files
Ensures project/program documents are complete, current and stored appropriately
Creates reports as required for various contracts
Be willing to travel overseas to austere environments
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's preferred.
Three years of administrative experience required.
Experience working U.S. Government contracts preferred.
Advanced proficiency with MS Office preferred.
Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion.
Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process.
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
