General Maintenance Technician III

Assists in preparing work schedules and directing work assignments of maintenance staff.
Leads work teams and ensures compliance to prescribed standards.
Trains and communicates current policies and procedures to maintenance staff.
Leads work teams in corrective and preventive maintenance on all facilities; including foundations, sidings, roofing, framing, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Leads work teams in corrective and preventive maintenance of buildings, track facilities and other structures.
Trains new workers and assists in evaluating performance of staff.
Makes recommendations to standardize and improve maintenance and repair processes and procedures.
Communicates and ensures compliance with proper safety practices.
Provides assistance to maintenance staff as required; performing semi-skilled and skilled maintenance, repair, and construction work in the basic trades.
Assists in overseeing and auditing the inventory and requisition of tools, equipment, and supplies.
Endures accuracy and completeness of all maintenance records.
Prepares reports as required.
Other duties as assigned.
High school diploma required.
Four years of experience in maintenance and/or construction required.
One year of supervisory experience preferred.
Must have the ability to read and understand blueprints.

Frequent work outside and in inclement weather conditions is required, including heat, cold and humidity. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. Must wear Personal Protective Equipment as required by established Company Safety standards. Normal work hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 80 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday. Requires constant use of hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
