Counter Threat Finance Trainer

Responsibilities:
Finance-specific analytical experience dealing with identifying/detecting, targeting, and interdicting threat, terrorist, and/or criminal finance activities, and networks. Experience shall include CTF, and may include human intelligence and signals reporting, criminal and regulatory investigations, cases for designation, and experience with Bank Secrecy Act reporting mechanisms such as Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR). Training experience associated with the synchronization and collaboration of Interagency CTF activities and DoD CTF and TFI capabilities to collect, process, analyze, and tailor TFI in coordination with interagency partners. This includes understanding preserving evidence, chain of custody, and identifying relevant finance data. This also includes integrating CTF concepts, principles and methodologies into operational design courses, operational planning efforts, and doctrine.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree. Licensed, registered or otherwise certified in area of expertise required by the T/O AND 10 or more years of comprehensive demonstrated knowledge of the subject matter to be taught/ inspected as identified in the T/O AND demonstrated proficiency with course planning and teaching / inspecting large groups or other instructors.
Clearance Required: TS/SCI
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday through Friday (40) hours per week in coordination with the IT Assistant System Administrator/Programmer (AAP) to provide on-site coverage from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, however, some extended or weekend hours may be required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
