Manager, HR Costpoint

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Manager, HR Costpoint is responsible for managing the data integrity of the employee information and paid leave benefits in Costpoint. This includes providing oversight to the team members who enter the information as well as engaging in data mining and analysis that will range across all elements of the business. This position will identify and recommend changes in processes, operations and logistics to stakeholders. The manager will also be responsible for a variety of department tasks which include extensive work using Microsoft Excel, managing timelines, and stakeholder inputs.

  • Responsible, for working with HR, Payroll, IT and Finance to define and establish the overall management strategy and approach to data clean up, maintenance and quality control.
  • Maintain employee database including monitoring of additions, deletions, validating and correcting.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities to continually improve the quality of data management systems, processes and standards.
  • Manage the setup of new paid leave programs and provide oversight to ensure accruals are calculating correctly, balances are monitored, carryovers are completed promptly and timely, etc.
  • Implement controls and compliance metrics to reduce data issues and improve data quality.
  • Assist in planning, developing, implementing and evaluating processes and policies.
  • Manages all aspects of assigned responsibilities with limited supervision.
  • Manages staff, including all performance and career related activities.
  • Provides input into HR functional area and accountable for delivery of services within defined scope of budgeted targets.
  • Leads by example and sets the standards for HR in area of responsibility.
  • Leads and/or partners with others on global HR projects as directed by the Sr. Director of Human Resources or Vice President of Human Resources.
  • Works as a business partner with client groups and managers to promote HR policies and programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office and HRIS.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, both orally and in writing.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage resources and multiple priorities for timely completion of deliverables.
  • Must possess problem resolution skills with an analytical thought process.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Must possess leadership skills to include ability to successfully coach, influence, facilitate, present, communicate and problem solve.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Normal work hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 to 5:00, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Travel to branch offices may also be required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
