Strategic Relationship Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the creation, development, and pursuit of Canine cargo screening opportunities under a Certified Cargo Screening Program. Support the capture, planning, and closing of assigned projects and programs. We're looking for a results-driven sales expert to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.

  • Develop & Grow a Certified Cargo Screening Program (CCSP).

  • Develop and manage relationships with associated Certified Cargo Screening Facilities (CCSF) in accordance with 49 CFR Part 1544 and 1549.

  • Development of cooperative and collaborative relationships with CCSP stakeholders; to include, CCSF's (company and employees) TSA (worldwide & locally), Airline's (company and employees) and all Airport Personnel engaged in the safety and security.

  • Ability to interface with a wide range of personnel including, customer representatives, Executives, Proposal Managers, and Capture Managers to facilitate the efficient and effective development of new business opportunities.

  • Development of sales targets and pursuit of leads of CCSP opportunities; Reach out to customer leads through cold calling, expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.

  • Prioritization of the safety and security of the traveling public and providing carriers while honoring their customer service needs.

  • Analysis of performance metrics and proposal of process improvements that will eliminate systemic or individual weaknesses, vulnerabilities, or inefficiencies in the screening process.

  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments and analyze the territory/market's potential, track sales and status reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5 years prior experience in Sales required, plus 5 years security industry experience.

  • Application of and knowledge of current TSA Security and Cargo Screening Directives and Regulations and/or Contract Working Dog experience is highly preferred, but not required.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.

  • Ability to obtain TSA (SSI) Sensitive Security Information clearance.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of professionalism, organization, customer focus and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills; oral and written is essential.

  • Must be proficient in MS Office applications to include: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point, MS Outlook and basic knowledge of MS Visio.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Travel will also be required (25-50%).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
